Pediatric Residency What Type Of Doctors Work In A PICU (pediatric Intensive Care Unit)? What Residency & Or Fellowship?

What type of doctors work in a PICU (pediatric intensive care unit)? what residency & or fellowship? - pediatric residency

I wonder what kind of doctors in a PICU. I know that working in a medical unit, intensive care must undergo an internal medicine residence and a community in critical care. Pediatrics residency in pediatrics. But what kind of doctors in Pico? Intensivists and pediatricians? Pediatricians or walk to work through a grant from intensive care in PICU?

What kind of doctors in Pico? and that the residence / fellowship is required?

I am a) a resident in pediatrics and rotations in both PICU and Nicu (neonatal intensive care unit. May be the two pediatric intensive care in hospital and regular pediatrician useful in a pediatric intensive care unit and other specialists, depending on the nature of the problem - some pediatric cardiologists, pulmonologists, surgeons, neurologists, anesthesiologists, either. There is also a nurse and nursing staff, especially in the airways. In the hospitals I by turning, there is always an intensive care unit, either in service or on appeal - not all staff large enough to be a at any time to have.

I'm pretty sure he was still three years until an intensivist at the top of the usual three years resident in pediatrics at regular intervals over a lot of people seem to have more children in cardiology, pulmonology, intensive care, etc. have interns.

Children resuscitation. You can use a resident in pediatrics, and not to start a fellowship in critical care, anesthesia, or a residence permit and must be a community in the pediatric intensive care unit, or, as some people I know have done to a residence in pediatrics, anesthesia, and stay, and then a scholarship. Some people do not want a real job.
